Dreamcatcher is a retreat and fine dining hotel, located in an untouched corner of the jungles of Rio Dulce, Guatemala. Our goal at the hotel is to allow guests to get as close to the monkeys and surrounding nature as possible, by experiencing their habitat without disturbing it.

Our restaurant and bar serves fresh, delicious organic food that is carefully prepared by Liesel, who is a German-Guatemalan chef and also the owner of Dreamcatchers. Liesel uses locally grown ingredients, organic, locally-caught seafood, and imported USDA certified meat in her dishes. The bar specializes in frozen margaritas made from local fruits, with combinations of flavors created from passion fruit, strawberry, mango, tamarind, lemon, watermelon, cucumber, pomegranate, and pineapple it also serves the very best micheladas in town!

Hot springs? Yes we are so fortunate to have a paradiciac place called “finca paraiso”
We can take you there, and you will enjoy a natural hot waterfall, you will be able to climb to the top of the waterfall, put mud on your face and wash it with this espectacular hot water!
This beautiful fort used to be a prision for pirats it is located in front of the second largest lake of Central América “LAGO DE IZABAL”. We can Take you there to learn some history, walk around the gardens and have a pleaseant splash in the lake.
Playa blanca, which means white beach, is located in the coast of Livingston. You can have a realxing day enjoying the salty water of the Atlantic Ocean and the view
It is the only Garifunas town in Guatemala. You can walk around and try the famous Garifuna plate “Tapado”, Which is a local seafood dish.
